**Job Title: IT Coordinator**
**Position Summary**:
The IT Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating IT operations within the company, ensuring that all systems and services operate smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **IT Support**: Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
- **System Maintenance**: Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems, including servers, networks, and other infrastructure components.
- **Project Coordination**: Coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- **Vendor Management**: Liaise with external vendors for IT services and products, managing contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- **User Training**: Conduct training sessions for staff on new software and IT procedures to ensure effective use of technology.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and tracking assets.
- **Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- **Security Management**: Implement and manage IT security measures, ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant regulations.
- **System Upgrades**: Plan and execute system upgrades and updates, ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.
- **Backup & Recovery**: Manage backup systems and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in IT coordination or a similar role.
- **Skills**:
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
- Proficiency in operating systems, such as Windows and macOS.
- Experience with IT support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or ITIL.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of database management and SQL.
