About the role
Kantar is looking for a driven Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end, payroll delivery for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will work closely with HR Service Delivery, HR Business Partners and payroll provider to ensure timely and correct payments of monthly and fortnightly payrolls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the coordination of the end-to-end payroll process in line with relevant laws and procedures
- Meet all deadlines for payroll transmission and reporting
- Liaise with the payroll managed service provider (ADP) and ensure issue resolution is timely
- Input and process the monthly manual payments, to individuals and external vendors
- Validate payroll calculation and set to align regulatory changes or best practices with the payroll-managed service provider (ADP)
- Coordinate the payroll and superannuation and pension processes for Australia and New Zealand
- Create pay elements as needed including deductions and tax filing/withholding requirements
- Processing queries by monitoring tickets (ServiceNow) ensuring SLA is met.
- Represent the region as part of the global payroll team
- Collaborate with global mobility to ensure international assignees are accurately paid and their tax treatment is correctly processed
Experience and Skills
- Payroll practitioner with experience in Australia and New Zealand payroll
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excel spreadsheet skills
- Demonstrate ability to work independently in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
- Knowledge of ADP Celergo, Payforce & Workday advantageous.
