5+ years experience in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Learning Technology
3+ years experience using eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, Vyond, and Captivate and other video editing and graphic design software.
Experience in working or contributing to training design or planning projects
Adept with basics of visual design principles
Experience with user experience design principles
The scope of a Sr. Learning Experience Designer (LXD) in ADS is for an individual contributor independently responsible for the full cycle of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) for development of learning experiences to address complex or ambiguous problems. The Sr. LXD has expert level LXD-skills across ADDIE, adult learning theories, visual experience design and assessment methodologies using rapid authoring tools that can adapt to a range of delivery methods (i.e. in-person or vILT, e-Learning, blended, microlearning such as videos, infographics, job aids, etc.). The Sr. LXD leverages this expert skill to optimize procedures and share best practices with less experienced LXDs. The Sr. LXD has 3+ year program management experience or 2+ years of experience as a Learning Experience Designer.
A Sr. LXD uses knowledge and skill to decide which actions to take while leading program level and curriculum-level LXD goals and moderately impacts team goals. A Sr. LXD is able to design short-term solutions and deliver independently on defined program strategy, and seeks limited guidance on business problem and solutions. The SR. LXD is also expected to analyze curriculum metrics post launch, to make recommendations for improvement.
Key job responsibilities
The AGI- DS organization is engaged in the data processing to support the voice recognition for Alexa, the cloud-based service that powers devices like Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Echo Plus, Echo Spot, Echo Dot, and more. The Alexa service is always getting smarter, both for features, and for natural language understanding and accuracy. Because Alexa’s brains are in the AWS cloud, she continually learns and adds more functionality, every hour, every day. We also are building the future with Alexa LLM and generative AI. The KM (Knowledge Management) team is responsible for driving high quality training content for data associates located across the globe. This includes creating engaging process and tool content, including instructor-led training, E-Learning and self-paced learning, blended learning, virtual classroom design, building tool kits and study guides, and performance support aids for all global sites.

As a Training Content Specialist, you will be an eLearning developer creating digital assets using standard instructional software tools to develop training that will inspire our learner population.
Roles and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop learning solutions using eLearning development tools, which include using storyboards and design direction to create digital assets such as videos, graphics, and modules.
- Ability to rapid develop digital assets to support course content for a frequently changing environment.
- Strong video editing and development skills
- Partnering with Learning Experience Designers to produce high quality eLearning content
- Support curriculum maintenance reviews for developed training and update learning assets according to maintenance cycles.
- Design and Develop templates
- Experience with SCORM requirements.

- Knowledge or experience with using gaming mechanics in eLearning assets
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Cornerstone
