Skill: Hadoop/ Big data Admin
- Minmum of 5+ years of relevant experience. Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models. Evaluating existing data systems. Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows. Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system. Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility. Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models. Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client site
- Good knowledge of metadata management additional tools is an welcome addition. Exposure creating data model using ERWIN tool. Work experience with other Modeling tool is an added advantage. Expose to OLTP and OLAP modeling. Ensure data integrity, Security of data in the database. Prepare Mapping documentations and specifications to ETL team. works closely with other team members and stakeholders. Strong proficiency with database designing - Experience with some of the modern relational databases and noSQL database
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
- Capable of troubleshooting common desing issues. Documentation of details when and where its demanded. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform and Big Query will be an added advantage.
