You will bridge the softwareengineering team and the users to optimise the usage and benefitsfrom the software systems. You will get your hands dirty on thelatest and greatest platforms andframeworks.KeyQualifications Objectorientedprogramming and design skills preferably in Java Scala orJavaScript Demonstrated deep proficiencywith Big Data processing technologies (Hadoop HBase Cassandra otherNO SQL solutions) Aptitude to independentlylearn new technologies. Experience designingor implementing systems which work with external vendors interfacesExcellent oral and written communicationskills Ability to wear multiple hats and dowhat it takesattitudeDescriptionInthis role youll be responsible for building data validationplatforms that are used at scale. You will be mostly coding inScala and working with Play Framework Spark Mongo DB and other newplatforms. Maps is a complex product and you will be challenged inyour ability to grasp things quickly and working fast with smartpeople.Successful candidates will havestrong engineering skills and communication as well as a beliefthat collaborative development creates a better product and makeyou a betterengineer.EducationBachelors degree in CS or equivalent in computer science or relatedfield.
