Job Title: Reservations Associate
- Tours & Travel Industry - Bangalore

Job Responsibilities
- Assisting Travel Agents in establishing a high level of comfort in the usage of the online reservations system and supporting them to be able to sell more.
- Qualifying group requests from travel agents to assess if these can be handled by and become a one-point contact for our overseas office as well as for travel agents
- Handling client queries and achieving targets as specified by the company.
- Handling phone, LiveChat and web queries on a daily basis with utmost efficiency.
- Bridge communication between overseas offices and travel agents and reduce turn-around time to deliver superior support and service standards to the travel agents.
- Collecting feedback on reservations and product and communicating the same to the head office to enable us to improve and upgrade.
- Visiting travel agents across India and overseas when required to train as well promote sales of all our products.
- Supporting marketing activities on a national as well as regional level.
- Managing day to day administrative, back-end marketing support activities and providing marketing support to regional offices, PSAs, GSAs, Travel Agents and other partners such as airlines and tourism boards that we may be working with from time to time.
- Providing support and inputs on developing marketing plans to increase market share.
- Handling on-tour, pre-tour and off-tour issues and complaints from clients and agents and escalating as per the required situation.
- Developing training presentations for on-site support for the GSA’s and conducting trainings and presentations to travel agents regularly.
- Updating and collating and following up with necessary action on MIS reports on GSA performance, promotions, outstanding payments etc.
- Preparation of marketing reports for the region on marketing activities, market conditions, pricing, direction, competition, and distribution etc.
- Adherence to the Group Voyagers India, LLC budget, and coordination with the branches to ensure the same.
- Ensuring the quality of support and customer service that is a hallmark of the Company
- Working closely with the entire team to insure our corporate goals and objectives are met.
- Providing valuable, appropriate input to facilitate becoming a key part of the organization and at all times conducting yourself in a manner commensurate with the high quality of the brands.
- Representing the company in tradeshows and joint marketing activities with various partners in various markets.
