IT Infrastructure Network Administrator

Job Level: P2

Overview
- Network Administrator will support the implementation, monitoring, management, problem/incident resolution, and root cause analysis of network connections and devices. This role will be primarily responsible for network administration globally, along with assisting in planning and implementation of global network capital projects and helping to ensure a secure and stable network enterprise-wide.

**Responsibilities**:
Primary:

- Oversee and implement switch provisioning (configuration) and implementation across multiple sites, including coordinating cutover logistics and change management.
- Establish network monitoring for newly installed and replaced equipment.
- Support and operate Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) sites.
- Support and maintain network equipment and configuration (routers, switches, wireless/wired, SDWAN, firewalls, Load Balancers).
- Manage the LAN/WAN routing protocols between the routers and perform port management, network capacity management.
- Maintain the TDW Enterprise LAN/WAN, including the Regional Office Buildings, Datacenters, Regional offices, and Field Offices.
- Utilize network orchestration tools and techniques to facilitate automated and consistent configurations, management, testing, deployment, and operations of physical and virtual devices within the network.
- Manage and report on utilization statistics, errors, and inbound and outbound traffic.
- Monitor circuit connectivity and identify/resolve interruptions to the services.
- Perform VPN administration, including remote access and site to site, including firewall management and intrusion prevention system management.
- Escalate issues to vendor and third-party entities, as necessary.
- Maintain connectivity and virtual connections to public clouds such as Azure and AWS.

**Experience**:

- Requires a bachelor's degree plus 3 years' experience, or 5 years' experience in lieu of degree.
- CCNA or similar certification required; prefer CCNP or similar.
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments and able to manage their time well and complete projects and assignments on time with mínimal oversight.
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks; critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills required.
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
- Must be willing to work after hours or on call as required for the role: including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Shall possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including senior leadership.
