**Your responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Operation**: Operate and monitor skid/testing equipment, machinery, and systems during assigned shifts to ensure optimal performance.
- **Process Control**: Monitor and control processes, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, collaborating with maintenance teams to resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
- **Safety Compliance**: Enforce and adhere to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- **Communication**: Maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments to relay important information and ensure a seamless transition between shifts.
- **Record Keeping**: Document operational activities, readings, and incidents in logbooks or computer systems, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
- **Emergency Response**:Respond to emergencies or abnormal situations, following established protocols to mitigate risks and protect personnel and equipment.
- **Training**:Assist in the training of new operators, sharing knowledge and best practices to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
- **Quality Assurance**: Monitor product quality and adherence to specifications, taking corrective actions to address deviations and maintain product integrity.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform routine maintenance on equipment during scheduled downtimes.

**Skills you will need**:
**Must have**:

- Chemical Engineering Degree/ Diploma Preferred.
- 1-2 yrs. experience in a similar role within an industrial setting.

**Should have**:

- Familiarity with operating and monitoring equipment, control systems, and field instrumentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and informed decisions.

**Nice to have**:

- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
