Travel Sales Executive

We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Travel Agent with proficiency in Amadeus** to join our team. As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements efficiently and effectively using the Amadeus reservation system. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless travel experiences for our clients while maximizing revenue for the agency.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Utilize Amadeus reservation system to research, plan, and book flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel services according to client preferences and budget.
2. Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on travel destinations, itineraries, and accommodations.
3. Assist clients in managing travel-related documentation such as passports, visas, and travel insurance.
4. Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and refunds promptly and accurately.
5. Stay updated on industry trends, airline policies, and travel regulations to provide informed recommendations and solutions to clients.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to negotiate competitive rates and exclusive deals for clients.
7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth coordination of complex travel arrangements and group bookings.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, concerns, and emergencies before, during, and after travel.
9. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and financial transactions in the agency's database.
10. Actively participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance Amadeus skills and stay updated on new features and functionalities.
**Requirements**:
1. Proven experience as a Travel Agent with a strong understanding of travel industry practices and trends.
2. Proficiency in using the Amadeus reservation system for flight, hotel, car, and other travel bookings.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple client inquiries and bookings simultaneously.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy in processing bookings, payments, and documentation.
6. Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
7. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to accommodate client needs.
8. Prior experience in sales or customer service roles within the travel industry is preferred.
9. Certification or training in Amadeus system usage is highly desirable.
