**Position Title**: Procurement Contractor - Subcontractor Quotations (Remote)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quote Acquisition**: Obtain quotes from reputable subcontractors that align with the provided scope of work, ensuring all quotes adhere to the project's specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- **Subcontractor Vetting**: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of potential subcontractors to confirm their qualifications, experience, and reliability, ensuring their ability to meet project demands.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate with subcontractors to achieve competitive pricing, optimal timelines, and favorable terms of service, securing the best outcomes for the company.
- **Documentation**: Keep detailed records of all procurement activities, including quotes, communications, and contracts with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- **Compliance and Standards**: Ensure all subcontractor engagements adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, promptly addressing any discrepancies or concerns.
- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with subcontractors to facilitate smooth negotiations and collaborations in the future.
- **Project Coordination**: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to match subcontractor capabilities with project needs, providing regular updates on procurement progress.
- **Market Analysis**: Continuously assess market trends, subcontractor availability, and pricing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in procurement, project management, or a related field, emphasizing negotiation and subcontractor management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to organize, document, and multitask effectively, managing multiple procurement processes simultaneously.
- Knowledgeable about industry standards, compliance requirements, and procurement best practices.
- A well-established network of subcontractor contacts across relevant trades is advantageous.
- Comfortable working remotely and capable of maintaining productivity in a virtual office setting.

**Compensation**:

- The contractor will receive $300 per project for the first three projects successfully awarded based on the provided quotes.
- Following these initial awards, the opportunity to negotiate a higher compensation rate for subsequent projects will be based on performance, task complexity, and the value added to the company.
