- Assisting the company in developing, managing, and altering social responsibility policies
- Conduct research, come up with ideas, develop policies, create detailed plans, build relationships with partner organizations (NGOs), and then implement and coordinate a range of activities and initiatives which are designed to have a positive impact on the environment and local communities
- Identify NGOs and seek CSR proposals.
- Review of proposals and presentation for selection of CSR proposal for NGO due diligence
- Monthly/ quarterly project visits and reporting
- Coordinate with NGO and CSR advisory team for NGO due diligence reporting, review of reports and finalization follow-ups
- Using internal communication to reinforce the company’s social responsibility policies
- Working on company branding strategies with the Marcom function
- Work closely with the Marcom function to design, draft and implement the internal communications as per the defined plan
- Ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met
- Preparation for CSR Committee and Board Meeting quarterly updates
- On-boarding of NGOs, program monitoring and reporting support to NGOs
- Ensuring the NGOs operate as per the high standards, controls, and compliance requirements of Sun Life and as per the laid down act/laws by the government.
- Capacity development/enhancement of the NGO to better manage and expand on the identified project
- Processing, tracking of CSR fund disbursements and completion of financial documentation
- Completion of programs and reporting to Finance and Legal team
- Support Audit and cross functional team, on need basis
- PMO office for the PMNRF donations and receipt
- Promote awareness of CSR within the organization by ensuring both the management and workforce are informed, involved, and understand the reason and importance of CSR.

Plan and drive (voluntary) CSR activities through the employees of the organization.

**Skills, Experience & Competencies**:

- Should have 8-10 years of experience with CSR domain.
- Should be able to do Project/CSR compliance management, progress monitoring & evaluation.
- Workable knowledge of CSR Act and regulatory requirements related to the same
- Capable enough to supervise, direct and control social responsibility activities within the organization including developing comprehensive CSR programs
- Additional Certification in CSR, would be an added advantage
- CSR employee engagement activity planning, implementation, and reporting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Hands on experience on working with various tools like SharePoint, Service Now, MS Office Excel & PPT
- ** Interpersonal skills** - work across functions and responsible for communicating and collaborating with others. Needs to rely on relationships to get things done. Must be a visible leader and able to rally the troops. Navigates effectively through challenges and involves others to solve problems and achieve goals.
- ** Communication** - Knowing how to communicate well, both verbally and written is a critical must-have skill. Will be responsible for communicating everything from the business case to the impact and need to be able to tailor the message to different audiences and stakeholders. Communicates confidently to a wide variety of audiences at all organizational levels.
- ** Systems thinking and connecting the dots**: CSR is a cross sectoral and often requires partnerships with other organizations. Being able to see the big picture and explain how the organization fits into the greater cause will be important.
