Api Testing with C#

**Position**: API Tester with C#

**Responsibilities**:
Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for API testing.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using C# for API testing.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand API requirements and design appropriate test scenarios.
Conduct API performance testing and analyze the results to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues found during testing.
Participate in code reviews to ensure API quality and adherence to coding standards.
Collaborate with the development team to improve API testability, test coverage, and test automation.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in API testing.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Proficiency in C# programming language for developing and maintaining test automation scripts.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and JSON/XML data formats.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience with load testing and performance testing of APIs.
Knowledge of implementing Test Automation with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

**Must Have's**
Programming Skills in C#,.NET, Javascript
- Able to find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools.
UI, microservices Automation Testing -Functional, regression, E2E.
Experience in Performance Testing
- Nice to have
Experience in integrating automated test with CI/CD pipeline

**Salary**: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
