We are looking for an Automation Lead at offshore who will be an integral part of our Quality Engineering team and responsible for defining testing strategies, frameworks, and architecture with a focus on test automation using various tools or technologies.

Responsibilities:
Understand the project requirements, prepare the automation test strategy/approach, design the automation scripts, and create the execution plan.

Prepare automation test strategy/approach, prepare automation script design & execution plan, perform Functional automation, In-sprint automation, end-to-end automation and regression automation testing activities.

Develop, enhance, and maintain the automation framework with hands-on experience on other automation framework & tools are added advantage.
Follow the expected standards and automate UI/API scripts with Selenium automation with C# automation framework.
Perform automation script failure analysis, identify the root cause, fix the automation scripts, and re-execute the same.

Automate Smoke test cases, Functional test cases, End to End test cases, Regression test cases and add it in CI/CD pipeline.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).8+ knowledge on C# selenium conceptsPeer-review the automation scripts and share the feedback to the team.

Understanding on Design patterns is required.

Good knowledge on Scrum, GIT Hub, BitbucketHands on Web and API testing and automation experience using BDD Spec flow/Cucumber framework, Selenium, C#, Postman and REST.Strong hands-on experience or knowledge on API test automation, Forms & Rate automation.

Achieve the expected First-time pass % for End to End and Regression automation.

Have good work experience in test management tools – JIRA, ADOExperience in enhancing the existing automation framework to support the new capabilities.

Track all the automation metrics and publish it to internal & client leadership team.
Bring in automation best practices & tools/accelerators based on the landscape.
Provide guidance & train other team members in new automation skills.
Attend all Scrum ceremonies and provide the updates on Automation to the client stakeholders.
P&C Insurance domain knowledge / work experience is must.
Experience in PAS System, Rating, and related tools & framework.
Excellent in communication skills – verbal & written and presentation skills.
