Job description

Job Overview

As an OPT US Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring OPT candidates for a variety of positions across the United States. You will work closely with hiring managers to identify their needs and develop strategies to attract and hire top talent. You will also be responsible for on-boarding new hires and ensuring they are a good fit for the company culture. 
Responsibilities:

· Source and identify OPT candidates through a variety of channels, including online job portals like Dice, Monster, and CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, social media, and professional networking sites
· Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to identify qualified candidates
· Strong experience interviewing the candidates thoroughly on their technical skills.
· Familiarity with USA tax terms like Corp-Corp(C2C), W2, 1099
· Good understanding of different visa statuses including H1B, OPT, EAD, L1&L2, GC, TN
· Schedule and conduct in-person interviews with candidates
· Negotiate salary and benefits packages with candidates
· On-board new hires and ensure they are a good fit for the company culture
· Stay up-to-date on OPT regulations and requirements
· Maintain a strong relationship with OPT students and alumni

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
· 5+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably with OPT candidates
· Strong understanding of US immigration laws and OPT regulations
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
