Responsibilities:

  • Preparing business plan (sales forecasts)and getting it approved from management. This will include trend analysis, market scan, product market matrix and so on
  • Formulate strategy for achieving the business plan with respect to sales promotion measures, manpower hiring, expenses budgeting, training, dealer/distributor's appointments, etc.
  • Setting up robust review mechanism for monitoring target v/s actual, revisiting the targets on pro-rata basis based on the deviation and suggesting and implementing measures with respect to deviation.
  • Market intelligence-Analysing the market size based on various parameters like:Geography (export & domestic),Application,Technical features of the product
  • Sales promotion-Give guidelines with respect to website update,Monitor the timely updation of catalogue,Monitor the effectiveness of all sales promotion initiatives carried out by section head.
  • Formulating strategy, policies with respect to appointment of dealers, distributors, associates, etc.
  • Lead generation
  • Enquiry-Critically review enquiry on periodic basis to generate intelligence based on:Turn around time of lead to enquiry,Geography (export & domestic),Margin,Application etc
  • Quotations
  • Order Acknowledgement & Internal coordination
  • Despatch & Logistics,Post despatch activity
  • Training & Development
  • MIS
