Role and ResponsibilityQuality Management System (QMS) Development:. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System specific to the Project, in alignment with relevant industry standards and client requirements.. Establish quality policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent and reliable execution of quality assurance and control activities.Inspection and Testing:. Conduct regular inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications and approved quality standards.. Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, such as ultrasonic testing, radiography, and other relevant techniques, to assess the integrity of critical components.Quality Assurance Processes:. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure that quality requirements are integrated into all project stages effectively.. Collaborate with third-party inspection agencies, when necessary, to perform inspections and verify compliance.Documentation and Reporting:. Maintain accurate records of quality assessments, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions taken during the project's lifecycle.. Prepare regular quality reports for project management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement:. Identify potential areas for process improvement and actively participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.. Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement among project teams.. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:. Ensure that quality practices are in alignment with the project's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and standards.. Collaborate with HSE teams to address any quality-related risks that may impact safety or environmental performance.Client Communication:. Maintain effective communication with the client regarding quality-related matters, addressing queries, and providing regular project quality updates.
Expertise And Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical with a minimum of 6 years of experience and Diploma in Mechanical with a minimum of 10 Years of experience.. Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM),. Familiarity with quality inspection and testing techniques, NDT methods, and equipment.. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and client representatives.. Quality-related certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer - CQE) will be advantageous.. Proven experience of Quality Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.. Professional working knowledge of quality concepts, control techniques, product, process and material controls. Requires working knowledge of Microsoft word,Exceletc.
