  1. To be conversant with LTEH, MFF-Hazira HSE Manual, HSE Specifications/Standards and Statutory Regulations (Central & State)
  2. To mentor in daily Tool Box Talk Meeting prior works to be commenced.
  3. To conduct training and counseling sessions on group and individual basis and lead the process of passing on safety information to the work force through site Supervisors.
  4. To monitor the compliance of PTW and issue work permit.
  5. To participate/ conduct emergency response drills, provide scenarios for the monthly emergency drills, exercises.
  6. To monitor and report on the adherence of the rules and regulations set out in LTEH, MFF-Hazira HSE Manual.
  7. To inspect daily all areas under his responsibility.
  8. To prepare daily inspection reports.
  9. To maintain and keep all records relevant to HSE matters.
  10. Liaise with Contractors / sub-contractors for all matters related to HSE
  11. Coordinate for administration of 'Safety Award/ Incentive' scheme
  12. Coordinate for all other safety promotional activities in the field (Publications, notice boards etc)
  13. Investigate the accidents/ incidents, analyze, advice for corrective & preventive action and follow up for implementation
  14. To stop/ suspend any activity which is imminent danger to work force/property.
  15. Inspection of Material Handling Equipments and monitoring for any compliance.
  16. Co-ordinate inspection of Material Handling equipments by 3rd party.
  17. To advice site supervisor & site contractor
  18. Perform other related duties assigned by the HSEM from time to time.
  19. Cordinate for getting the Safety Culture Ladder Certification
  20. Cordinate with Award body for filling the application & attending the audit for British Safety Council , NSC , Frost & Sullivan , FICCI
  21. Co-ordination for ESG related Activities
