Responsibilities: Daily Accounting Operations: Processing and recording daily financial transactions accurately and efficiently (e.g., invoices, payments, receipts, bank entries). Maintaining and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers in Tally. Handling petty cash transactions and reconciliation. Assisting with bank reconciliation on a regular basis. Invoice Processing and Management: Raising sales invoices and ensuring timely dispatch to clients. Tracking outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments. Verifying supplier invoices and processing them for payment. Maintaining organized records of all invoices (sales and purchase). Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software Tally Ensuring proper filing and documentation of all financial transactions. Assisting with the preparation of supporting documents for audits. Tax Compliance Support: Assisting with the preparation of tax-related documents and filings (e.g., GST, TDS). Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. Other Accounting Tasks: Assisting with inventory accounting and reconciliation Undertaking any other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by the Accounts Manager or Finance Manager. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Commerce. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures. Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar accounting role. Familiarity with accounting software Tally. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of GST and TDS regulations (desirable). Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
