Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to join our team at our corporate office at Mapusa, North Goa as the

Manager - Social Media Marketing . This full time on-site position requires someone with a creative mindset, strong written and verbal communication skills, deep understanding of key social media platforms, analytical ability, experience of developing strong digital presence for consumer brands and a passion for building a brand ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Branding Strategy:
Market Research.
Competitive Analysis.
Brand Positioning.

Social Media Strategy Across Platforms (Primarily Organic):
Benchmarking.
Identification of Audience & Messaging across Platforms.
Development and execution of comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Insta, Meta, YouTube, X, LinkedIn etc) to create brand awareness, build extensive user engagement and earn strong brand loyalty.
Monitor social media trends, analyse performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results.

Conceptualise and Oversee Creation of Engaging Content to Attract and Retain Followers:
Conceptualise and oversee development of high-quality, visually appealing content (aligned with SEO and keyword search considerations and consistent with brand positioning) that showcases our vacation rental properties and promotes our brand identity.
Conceptualise and oversee execution of photo & video shoots of homes for onboarding them to ZenAway platform and listing on OTAs like Airbnb and for creating digital brochures as well as shorts/reels.
Conceptualise Video Content and Oversee Execution of Video Shoots for Shorts/Reels.
Conceptualise and oversee curation of user-generated content and leverage guest testimonials & reviews to enhance credibility and authenticity.
Utilise AI Tools (ChatGPT, DALL-E, Gemini, Anthropic, Others) and stock content to generate/amplify

c ontent – Text, Images & Video.

Planning, Ideation and Execution of Monthly Social Media Calendar across Platforms:
Ensuring timely and consistent posting schedules to maximize engagement and reach.

Optimisation of Website Content:
SEO (on-page) and Keyword Search (including using in-built SEO tools).
SEO (off-page).
SEM - Google Keyword Planner & Google Analytics.

Influencer Marketing:
Research & Identify Influencers who resonate with our target audience and compliment/potentially amplify our brand positioning.
Develop and negotiate compensation framework (preferably on barter system).
Collaborate with Influencers to generate engaging and effective content.
Track & measure influencer effectiveness.

Online User Engagement & Community Building:
Foster meaningful interactions with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Cultivate relationships with influencers, partners, and local businesses to expand our reach and enhance brand advocacy.
Identify opportunities for collaborations, partnerships, and sponsorships to amplify our brand presence and drive business growth.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
Work with cross functional teams to ensure overall guest experience is fully aligned to brand promise and positioning.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user engagement & satisfaction, and brand sentiment.
Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate results, trends, and actionable insights to senior management using social media analytics tools.

Additional Skills/Experience would be a Plus:
Creative Skills - Photography & Videography, Graphic Designing (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Others). Photo & Video Editing (Adobe Studio, iMovie, Others), Creative Copywriting.
Experience in Paid Advertising/Performance Marketing/Email Marketing/WhatsApp marketing.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in social media marketing and online community management preferably with exposure to hospitality sector.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for content creation, distribution, and engagement.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and interact effectively with diverse audiences.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design, aesthetics, and storytelling.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights), and CRM systems.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
