Job Summary: The SEO & Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing holistic SEO strategies and creating compelling, SEO-optimized content that resonates with target audiences. This role demands a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, exceptional writing skills, and a passion for crafting content that drives results. Responsibilities: ● SEO Strategy & Implementation: ○ Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic. ○ Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits. ○ Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO optimizations. ○ Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. ● Content Creation & Optimization: ○ Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, website copy, landing pages, and more. ○ Develop content calendars and ensure timely content delivery. ○ Optimize existing content for target keywords and improve readability. ○ Conduct content gap analysis and identify content opportunities. ○ Implement content marketing strategies to attract and engage target audiences. ● On-Page SEO: ○ Optimize website content, meta tags, header tags, and internal linking structure. ○ Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with target keywords. ○ Implement schema markup and structured data. ● Off-Page SEO: ○ Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks. ○ Manage and optimize Google My Business (GMB) listings. ○ Build and maintain relationships with influencers and industry partners. ● Technical SEO: ○ Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, indexing problems, and site speed issues. ○ Optimize website architecture, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt files. ○ Ensure website mobile-friendliness and security. ● Local SEO: ○ Optimize GMB listings and local citations for improved local search visibility. ○ Develop and implement local SEO strategies to target specific geographic areas. ○ Manage online reviews and reputation. ● Analytics & Reporting: ○ Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. ○ Prepare and present regular reports to clients and internal teams. ○ Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. ● Collaboration & Communication: ○ Collaborate with the marketing, development, and design teams to ensure cohesive SEO and content strategies. ○ Communicate with clients to provide updates on SEO and content performance. ○ Stay up to date on the latest SEO and content marketing trends. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. ● 3+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing, preferably in a digital marketing agency. ● Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving traffic. ● Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices across on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO. ● Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. ● Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz. ● Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress. ● Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
