Position Title:

Security Manager

Objectives:

Responsible for all security/safety related concerns and ensure to provide highly secure & safe environment.

Job Descriptions:

The responsibilities of the Security Manager will include:

Directs security personnel operations according to established policies and procedures.
Investigates incident reports, thefts, accidents and any other unusual reported or observed occurrences and completes all required documentation and reports reflecting security activities.
Develops and maintains Security Department policies and procedures.
Receives, evaluates and supervises requests for special Security services. Plans staffing levels and assignments.
Ensures appropriate security response to emergencies or unusual occurrences and ensures required internal/external notifications are made as appropriate.
Provides initial and refresher training to security personnel on policies and procedures, security operations, and emergency response.
Maintains records on emergency responses, equipment inventory, Key and lock systems, alarm systems, reported security incidents, reported personnel incidents, and unusual occurrences.
Ensures own and Security personnel activities are conducted in accordance with appropriate ES&H, Quality Assurance and Conduct of Operations policies, procedures and orders.
Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
Maintaining relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards related to security
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
To Coordinate with the staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
The role involves maintaining a tracker of fit-out works by owner residents and managing the registration of residents through the MyGate application, including document verification, until security operations are handed over to the respective sector's managing committee.
Process of registration of LR residents on my gate for Urban Park.
The role includes managing the move-in/move-out process for all residents (owners/tenants) through the MyGate application until security operations are handed over to the respective sector's managing committee.
Maintain and record fit-out work deposit cheques until the security operations are handed over to the respective sector's managing committee.
Maintain a tracker of fit-out works carried out by owner residents in the new sectors until security operations are officially handed over to the respective managing committee.
To maintain the documentation of PMRDA (Fire brigade vehicles & FM vehicles and arrange to carry out all RTO related works & renewal of insurance policies.
Preparation and submission of MMR & MIS report.
Prepare the MIS report for the facility, coordinating with respective team members from all departments, collating the data, and submitting it to management.
Preparation of MRS/SRS for the materials/services and procurement of the same as and when required.
Ensuring all the operations are running smoothly all the time.
Coordinating for conducting the firefighting training for residents & security staffs.
To carry out the monthly site audit of the security vendors.
Process for executing the agreement with security services vendors.
Coordinate and to taking follow up for timely payments to the vendors.
Carrying out the fit out works inspection of the flats duly co-ordinating with technical team.
Daily reporting to Facility Head for all the security & safety related activities.

Skills Requirement & Qualification:
Thorough knowledge of facility security measures including their planning, implementation, and control.
Considerable knowledge of general police methods in dealing with individuals and groups.
Ability to train and supervise Security guards.
Ability to learn the operation of short-wave radio and telecommunication systems.
Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and ability to act quickly in an emergency.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and coordinate the security program with outside agencies.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
Proven experience as security manager or similar position
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to pass judgement and make decisions
Need a strong background in security procedures, law enforcement, and emergency management.

Education and Experience: -:

Graduation

Experience of 13 to 14 years in the relevant field and designation, preferably as an ex-serviceman. Further education in security administration or a similar field will be considered an asset.
