The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of EV technology, current market trends, and user feedback mechanisms. This role involves collaboration with Chinese manufacturers and on-ground servicing teams to enhance product performance and streamline the supply chain from manufacturing to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
Lead the design and enhancement of electric motorcycles based on user feedback and performance assessments.
Collaboration with Manufacturers:
Work closely with Chinese manufacturers to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and adherence to specifications.
User Feedback Integration:
Collect and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements and feature enhancements.
Performance Assessment:
Evaluate vehicle performance metrics and identify areas for design optimization.
Operational Insights:
Collaborate with the servicing team to understand operational realities and improve serviceability.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Assist in refining the supply chain processes from manufacturing through to deployment, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years in product management or engineering roles within the EV OEM industry, specifically with experience working alongside Chinese manufacturers.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of electric vehicle technologies, components, and current trends in the EV market.
Analytical Skills:
Proficient in assessing vehicle performance data and translating insights into actionable product enhancements.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working directly with Chinese supply chains or manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with the food delivery market dynamics in the UAE.
