About the Role:
We're looking for an individual who thrives at the intersection of
sales, storytelling, and strategy
. This role is crucial in expanding Edstead's branded content collaborations and building lasting relationships with brands, agencies, and industry leaders.
You'll drive revenue growth by identifying strategic opportunities, pitching concepts, and closing partnerships across
Media, Tech, BFSI, FMCG, Auto, Lifestyle, and Emerging sectors
.
What We're Looking For:
9-12 years of experience in
branded content sales, media partnerships, or content marketing
Partner with clients to conceptualise and deliver innovative creative solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with their objectives.
Develop compelling concepts that meet their communication goals while aligning with Edstead's brand identity and strategic positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all branded content solutions align with overarching brand guidelines and positioning.
A strong network of decision-makers in
brands, agencies, and media buying teams.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
A deep understanding of content-led marketing and storytelling.
Ability to craft creative pitches and customized solutions for brands.
Prior experience in
media, production houses, digital platforms, or creative agencies
is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development & Lead Generation:
Identify and target potential brand partners for Edstead's docu-series and content projects
Build a strong pipeline of brands, agencies, and collaborators across industries
Strategic Pitches & Proposal Creation:
Develop tailored pitches and proposals based on client objectives and brand positioning
Work closely with the creative team to align partnership concepts with the editorial vision
Partnerships & Sales Execution:
Drive end-to-end sales cycle — from outreach, pitch, and negotiation, to deal closure
Manage relationships with key decision-makers, CMOs, marketing heads, and agencies
Branded Content Strategy:
Collaborate with the content team to develop impactful storytelling opportunities for brands
Ensure smooth integration of partner brands within the creative framework
Market Intelligence & Trends:
Stay updated on industry trends, content marketing, and branded content innovations
Spot opportunities for new IPs, content formats, and sector-specific storytelling
Revenue Growth:
Work towards achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
