We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Substation Designer
specializing in
132kV and 220kV
substations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the
design, layout, and development
of high-voltage substations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Design & Drafting:
Develop detailed
electrical layouts, schematics, and physical drawings
for 132kV & 220kV substations.
Equipment Specification:
Prepare
technical specifications
for substation equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and control panels.
Site Planning & Layouts:
Create
general arrangement (GA) drawings
, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and foundation drawings.
Protection & Control:
Design
protection systems, relay coordination, and SCADA integration
for efficient substation operations.
Cable & Conduit Routing:
Plan and design cable trenches, conduit layouts, and earthing systems.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all designs adhere to guidelines issues by the competitive authority.
Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and field teams for smooth execution of projects.
Site Support:
Provide
technical support
during installation, testing, and commissioning of substations.
"Must have" functional competencies

AutoCAD, ETAP, PLS-CADD, MATLAB, or other relevant electrical design tools.
