What you will do ?

The Global Merchandising Solution Delivery organization develops the software and systems that determine where millions of products will move around the globe to our stores each day.? On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think outside the box.

As a Product Owner on the Global Buying Tools ART, you will own some of our Buying systems within TJX. You will refine and guide the product backlog for the Scrum Team(s), be a partner with our customers to ensure we are delivering value for them, as well as partnering with the Product management team to steer our product roadmaps.

We are seeking a motivated, talented, experienced Product owner who can Analyse complex business processes and systems to translate to user stories and acceptance criteria in the team backlog. They will partner and collaborate with Scrum team members, Product Management, and our business partners to ensure delivery of business value.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in an agile delivery framework, or requirement development or Product Owner role.
  • Experience with, and strong understanding of Product Ownership for Agile Scrum Teams
  • Proven ability to analyze complex cross functional business process and defining integrated user stories using industry standard techniques
  • Works with Product Management as an extended team member on planning and backlog refinement.
  • Works directly with product management, business sponsors, key stakeholders and agile scrum teams to ensure the solution meets the product vision and business objectives.
  • Supports 1-2 Agile teams and displays a strong understanding of targeted business operations and assists in the analysis of related business processes.
  • Participates in Team Demos and Retrospectives.
  • Proven ability to manage dependencies and shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations
  • Extensive understanding of agile methodology, techniques, and agile tools (such as Jira and Confluence)
  • Ability to work in distributed teams and develop multi-level relationships
  • Experience working as part of an Agile Release Train in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence and presentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with custom developed applications
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
  • Experience within a retail IT environment
