Education Qualification: BSc Experience: 8-12 years We are seeking an experienced Analytics Specialist to support our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team in driving data-driven decision-making across organization.
This role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics and business intelligence tools to optimize sourcing strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve supplier performance within the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to work cross-functionally with other business units.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis on procurement data, identifying trends, cost-saving opportunities, and performance insights.
o Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics, supplier performance, and sourcing strategy outcomes.
o Support the preparation of regular reports for senior leadership and cross-functional teams, presenting actionable insights derived from complex datasets.

Supplier Performance Analysis: o Analyse supplier performance data, including quality, delivery, relationship and cost metrics, to drive continuous improvement in supplier relationships.
o Identify and recommend strategies for optimizing sourcing and procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Strategic Sourcing Support : Assist in the development of sourcing strategies by analysing market data, cost structures, and supplier capabilities.
Experience in preparing negotiation playbooks and product clean sheets is preferred.
o Provide analytical insights that support the negotiation and selection of suppliers, ensuring that decisions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
o Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for category management and supplier consolidation.
4.
Cost Management & Budgeting: Use advanced analytics tools to identify potential cost-saving opportunities, evaluate total cost of ownership, and assess the impact of different sourcing strategies.
o Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to track budget compliance and cost forecasts.
o Support the implementation of cost reduction initiatives and provide regular updates on progress.
5.
Process Improvement & Automation : Identify opportunities to automate data collection, reporting, and analytics processes within the procurement function.
o Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to design and implement data systems and tools that enhance decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
o Drive the adoption of best practices in analytics and data-driven decision-making within the procurement team.
