Position: Mechanical Engineer - District cooling & Heating Design Department: Mechanical Job Location: Bengaluru Experience: 3 years You can also drop your CV adeeb.delvi@dar.com & zuhaibulla.s@dar.com Job Overview: A leading multinational company is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bangaluru .
The candidate will have up to 3 years of experience in mechanical design for district cooling/heating, with a solid understanding of district cooling plants, chilled water network.
Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive mechanical designs, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design and Construction Documentation Perform master plan cooling load calculations, System design Equipment sizing and selection; Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems; Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, and other relevant codes and standards; Utilize Revit to create BIM models and drawings; Collaborate with teams, clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements : Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; and Professional certification (Green Building Certified, etc.) is a plus.
Experience: 3 years of experience in mechanical design for chilled water projects; Understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC is a plus; Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical design systems and tools (formal training is a plus) Knowledge of Revit tools (formal training is a plus) Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for team interactions; and Team-oriented with strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Portuguese, French or other languages are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications : Prior experience working with design consultants; Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient solutions; and Green Building Certified is a plus.
