Senior Azure Cloud Sre Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Azure Cloud SRE Lead with deep expertise in both Azure infrastructure and Dev Ops, and the ability to lead and execute complex cloud projects end-to-end.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust cloud architectures, leading on-prem/cloud to cloud migrations, and driving automation at scale.

This hybrid role demands both strong individual contribution and team leadership.

You will play a strategic role in solution design, hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and the successful delivery of cloud-native and hybrid solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient architectures in Microsoft Azure across Iaa S, Paa S, and hybrid environments.

Lead and contribute to on-premises/cloud to Azure cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.

Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or other Dev Ops toolsets.

Implement and manage core Azure services including AKS, App Services, VMs, VNets, Load Balancers, Key Vaults, NSGs, etc.

Provide solution architecture and design leadership, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards.

Lead incident response and troubleshooting of complex cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.

Drive cost optimization, governance, and operational excellence across cloud workloads.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, security, operations) to define cloud strategy, Dev Ops best practices, and implementation roadmaps.

Mentor junior team members and support technical enablement across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Azure Cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops roles.

Deep hands-on expertise in core Azure services: Networking, VMs, AKS, App Services, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, Azure AD, Key Vault, Monitor, etc.

Proven experience in cloud solution design and architecture, particularly for enterprise-scale systems.

Demonstrated experience with on-prem to cloud migrations, including infrastructure, databases, and applications.

Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, ARM, Bicep.

Strong background in CI/CD implementation using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, or Git Lab.

Proficient in Python, Power Shell, or Bash for scripting and automation.

Solid understanding of networking, hybrid connectivity (Express Route, VPN), security controls, and identity management (RBAC, Azure AD).

Familiar with Dev Sec Ops practices, security scanning tools, and integration into CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with monitoring and observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana.

Knowledge of Agile and ITIL processes, with a focus on Dev Ops metrics and service reliability.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Microsoft Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate.

Additional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, CKA) are a plus.

Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Git Lab, or other Dev Ops tools.

Exposure to serverless architectures, hybrid cloud, or multi-cloud environments.
