Responsibilities:Developing strategic design plans with projected timelines and budgets.Creating storyboards and mockups for clients and the design team to visualize the completed project.Pitching ideas and the creative vision to the client and communicating the project outline to the design team.Choosing the design elements for different projects.Overseeing the design projects, from start to finish, and monitoring the staff members to ensure they adhere to the budget and timeline constraints.Lead the interior design team and drive the firm's creative vision through all project phasesOversee project quality and ensure design excellence throughoutMentor and develop designers and other team membersServe as the primary liaison with clients and key stakeholdersManage project budgets and other project financialsParticipate in fee negotiations and other business development strategiesLead design and leadership meetingsContribute to company growth strategies and other commercial decisionsMonitor and provide guidance on staff resource needsAct as a company ambassador and main point of contact, internally and externallyWhat we expect:15+ years of experience in a similar roleDegree or qualification in interior design, architecture, or a related fieldPrevious experience in a leadership position ideally with a top-tier firmProficient knowledge of design software, such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create detailed plans, renderings, and presentations.Excellent leadership skills to effectively manage and mentor a team of designers, ensuring projects are executed according to the client's specifications and delivered on time.Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, providing clear instructions, managing expectations, and fostering productive relationships.
