Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Project System (PS) Consultant to manage and support SAP PS modules in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of project-related processes.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and effective SAP solutions that support project lifecycle management, from planning and budgeting to execution and closing.
Key Responsibilities: Configure and implement SAP Project System (PS) module functionalities, including WBS, networks, activities, milestones, and cost planning.
Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to project management and costing.
Integrate SAP PS with other modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM.
Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support end-users with training, documentation, and ongoing issue resolution.
Monitor and troubleshoot SAP PS-related incidents and service requests.
Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and related projects.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and internal IT governance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PS configuration and support.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle management within SAP.
Experience with project budgeting, cost control, resource planning, and settlement processes.
Familiarity with integration touchpoints with other SAP modules.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: SAP certification in Project System.
Experience with S/4 HANA.
Industry-specific SAP PS implementation experience (e.g., Construction, Manufacturing, Utilities).
Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
