Quality Assurance Automation Lead

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
This role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create and maintain robust test frameworks and improve overall software performance and stability.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
Maintain and improve existing automation test frameworks.
Conduct performance, regression, and functional testing.
Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution.
Generate test reports and metrics for stakeholders.
Continuously explore new tools and technologies to enhance test automation.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.9+ years of experience in software QA with a focus on automation testing.
Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Java Script, C#).
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium Web Driver, Test NG, JUnit, Cypress).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Soap UI.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
