Position Overview We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and media-savvy Program Associate with 1–3 years of relevant experience to support a client-facing public health project.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of India's top scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals, and to contribute to health and science communications.
The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and researcher, capable of translating complex technical content into accessible, creative formats for a wider audience.
The role will also involve direct client interaction, coordination of deliverables, and the development of high-quality content across channels.
Key Responsibilities Research & Documentation Develop background research, meeting notes, and briefing documents Synthesize technical information into accessible formats for non-specialist audiences Support development of internal and client-facing presentations and reports Content Development Draft and edit press releases, opinion pieces, articles, and social media content Develop key messages and storytelling frameworks for campaigns or events Track trends in media, new research findings, and policy updates relevant to health Design & Digital Communication Design creative social media and digital communication materials using Canva Ensure all collaterals are well-formatted, visually consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines Create and manage a content posting calendar for digital platforms Client Servicing & Project Coordination Work closely with the client to understand and respond to their requests Coordinate with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of work Help manage timelines, track feedback, and follow up on pending tasks Reporting & Business Development Support Assist in updating internal case studies and documenting project achievements for both internal and external use Conduct background research to support proposal development and preparation for pitching meetings Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in journalism, public health, social sciences, communication, or a related field Master's degree is desirable1–3 years of relevant experience in research, writing, design, or digital communication Strong written and spoken communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point, Word and Excel Strong design and layout skills; proficiency with Canva or similar design tool Experience developing content and visuals for social media platforms (especially X/Twitter, Linked In, and Instagram)Preferred Attributes High attention to detail in writing, formatting, and visual design Prior experience working in a client servicing or consulting environment Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate within a team Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders in health and development sectors Ability to work within short timelines.
