Role Overview: As the Head of Data, you will lead and scale our Data Engineering and Analytics functions.

You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, driving the data vision, ensuring cost efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making across STAGE.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Define and drive the data vision, strategy, and roadmap for STAGE.

Lead Data Engineering and Analytics teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and impactful data platforms.

Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing data team through effective hiring, feedback, and career development.

Execution & Delivery Oversee the entire data lifecycle: collection, storage, processing, governance, and visualization.

Deliver accurate, timely insights and enable self-service analytics across teams.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.

Operational Excellence Manage budgets and optimize infrastructure and tool costs.

Establish best practices for data quality, privacy, compliance, and security.

Build scalable reporting frameworks and ensure operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted partner to leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Align data priorities with overall business objectives.

Desired Skills & Experience:10+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related domains.

Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience managing data teams.

Hands-on foundation as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.

Strong experience in hiring, mentoring, and team growth.

Expertise in cost management, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.

Experience with modern data stacks: cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), data warehousing (Snowflake/Big Query/Redshift), and analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
