Job Title: EDI Consultant - Full Time Location: Gachibowli, HYD Must-Have Qualifications: 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Proficiency with EDI tools and platforms, including: AXWAY IBM Sterling Integrator Gentran Availability: Looking for candidates who are available to join immediately or have a notice period of up to 30 days .
We are looking for an experienced EDI Consultant with strong domain expertise in Automotive EDI standards and transactions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EDI mapping, transaction sets like 830, 862, 856, and one or more tools such as GXS, Gentran, IBM Sterling.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse and implement EDI solutions for automotive clients.
Work with standard EDI transaction sets: 830 (Planning Schedule), 862 (Shipping Schedule), 856 (ASN), 810 (Invoice), and others.
Review the mapping specifications and identify the missing segments and data elements and report out.
Collaborate with internal teams and trading partners for end-to-end EDI process setup.
Participate in troubleshooting, testing, and validating EDI transactions.
The candidate is responsible for taking the output from multiple integration systems, validate the EDI files for any gaps and communicate to the respective teams for the corrections Desired Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of EDI implementation experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
Deep understanding of EDI communication standards and protocols.
Experience in EDI Standards like EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA.
Strong experience in developing mapping specs and interpreting implementation guidelines.
Exposure to Order to Cash processes, especially scheduling agreements and shipping (optional but preferred).
Proficient with one or more EDI tools: GXS, Gentran, IBM Sterling, SAP CPI.
Experience in EDI guidelines and preparing EDI mapping specifications based on client requirements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and exhibit flexibility in a dynamic project environment.
