Senior Sap Sales Distribution Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Consultant with dual expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP MM and SD solutions that align with business goals and ensure seamless integration across procurement and sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:Lead SAP MM and SD module configurations, enhancements, and support initiatives.Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.Analyse and map business processes to SAP best practices in MM and SD.Configure and maintain core MM functionalities: Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Inventory Management, Vendor Evaluation.Configure and maintain SD functionalities: Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, Returns, and Intercompany Sales.Handle master data (Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master).Design integration scenarios between MM, SD, FI/CO, and PP modules.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).Provide end-user training and create documentation.Support data migration activities and contribute to S/4 HANA upgrade projects.Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, FI/CO, WM) for seamless process integration.Support production planning processes, including Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), Repetitive Manufacturing, and KANBAN.Design and execute test scenarios, training materials, and end-user documentation.Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and S/4 HANA migration projects.Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.Ensuring required customisation for the business needsCoordination & end-user training for SAP modules whenever required.Ensuring configuration of changes in the business scenario and mapping in SAP, as & when requiredPreparation of end-user manualsResolving day-to-day issues/errorsResponsible for proper testing in Development and Quality clientsEnsuring proper Master data maintenanceSupport for the Project System (PS) module.Support for other modules if required.Asset Management (Functional Locations & Equipment) and Sequence.Master data creation for the Material master and Vendor master at the group levelNew Tax Code creation as per changes in taxationCompetent with 194 Q, Configuration & processCompetent with P2 P cycle, new configuration & processExpertise in MM processes & configurationZ developments in the MM processMonthly period opening (MM & FICO)Knowledge about LSMWInter-module integrationCompetent with Fiori ApplicationsMaintaining all proper documents related to the new projectPlans effectively, sets priorities, and manages several complex projects simultaneously while working to meet deadlinesConducting training for end users as & when requiredTaking up new development & providing solution on the sameGeneration of stock reports for all plantsLearn and implement new scenarios for purchase, accounts, costing, and financeProviding solutions to end users for day-to-day issuesCarrying out testing for the solution provided by consultants on the DEV & QAS serverCoordination with end users & SAP consultantsSupporting other module issues in the absence of the concerned module leadsRequirements:Graduate Engineer (Computer/IT) / MCA / MSc Computer SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP MM & SD (ECC or S/4 HANA)ITIL or PMP certification is a plusWilling to travel and has a flexible approach to workReady to work at any location of the organisation within the shortest possible timeBachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related discipline.6–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and SD modules.At least 2 full-cycle end-to-end SAP implementations in MM and SD.Strong knowledge of procurement and order-to-cash (O2 C) business processes.Experience with IDocs, pricing procedures, output determination, and batch management.Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA is highly preferred.Solid integration experience with SAP FI, PP, and WM modules.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
