Role Objective:The key objective of this position is to ensure that all IT infrastructure, systems, and processes are compliant with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
The role involves strategic planning, validation, and monitoring of infrastructure components to maintain operational efficiency, data security, and business continuity.
The position holder will also drive process improvements, lead technical evaluations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.9 to 11 years of experience in IT validation, infrastructure management, or quality/compliance functions.Knowledge of IT system validation methodologies, documentation practices, and compliance frameworks.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.Experience in team collaboration, vendor management, and regulatory compliance audits.Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and timelines.Role & Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & ImplementationDevelop and implement IT infrastructure validation strategies aligned with business needs.Ensure scalability, resilience, and compliance during infrastructure lifecycle management.Infrastructure & Systems ValidationValidate installation, configuration, and performance of servers, networks, storage, and virtualization systems.Review and approve system qualification protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) and reports.Security & ComplianceEnforce security validation checks to safeguard data and systems.Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations through regular audits.Backup & Recovery ValidationValidate data backup processes and recovery mechanisms for effectiveness and reliability.Conduct periodic restoration testing to ensure minimal downtime in the event of failures.Team Leadership & CollaborationProvide guidance to IT professionals in validation activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT systems support organizational objectives.Vendor & Budget OversightEvaluate vendor systems and solutions for compliance with validation requirements.Support IT budget planning by ensuring cost-effective and compliant infrastructure solutions.Technical Support & TroubleshootingProvide validation input for escalated technical issues and recommend corrective actions.Conduct root cause analysis and ensure implementation of permanent solutions.Documentation & ReportingMaintain detailed validation documentation, protocols, and reports.Provide periodic validation performance reports to management and stakeholders.Policy & SOP GovernanceDevelop, review, and enforce IT validation policies, SOPs, and best practices.Ensure documentation is audit-ready and compliant with standards.Continuous Improvement & InnovationMonitor emerging technologies and recommend validation strategies for system enhancements.Drive continuous improvement in validation practices to optimize system reliability and efficiency.Functional Skills Required:Proficiency in IT system validation methodologies and lifecycle management.Strong understanding of infrastructure (servers, networks, virtualization, storage, and backup systems).Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, GDPR, ITIL).Expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical documentation.Experience in audit preparation and compliance reporting.Behavioral Skills Required:Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Analytical and detail-oriented approach with problem-solving ability.High accountability and ownership of responsibilities.Adaptability to changing technologies and business needs.Team Size to be Handled:Lead and supervise a team of 4–6 team members, reporting to the General Manager – IT.Important Links:Website: : Instagram: Biotech Vision CareBiotech is an equal opportunity organization promoting diversity while ensuring no discrimination on any ground, including gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
