Junior Test Engineer

The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium Web Driver.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test cases.
Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing.
Prepare test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Contribute to continuous improvements in the QA process and automation framework.
Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.1 year of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
Proficiency in Selenium Web Driver (Java/Python preferred).
Familiarity with test frameworks like Test NG / JUnit.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Knowledge of SQL for database testing is a plus.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Nice to Have Exposure to API testing (Postman/Rest Assured).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter).
