Software Test Engineer RoleWe are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Software Test Engineer. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications.The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to verify their usability, performance, and overall quality.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test cases.
  • Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing to guarantee application stability.
  • Prepare test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to facilitate communication and decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in the QA process and automation framework to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, preferably in Java or Python.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG/JUnit.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing is beneficial.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to API testing using Postman/Rest Assured.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing tools, such as JMeter.
