Director - Asic Design Verification

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of deep technical and leadership experience in ASIC/So C verification and will be responsible for shaping the verification strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering industry-leading silicon products with first-pass success.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive the full ASIC/So C verification lifecycle — from strategy and planning to execution, coverage closure, and silicon sign-off.Define and implement robust, scalable verification methodologies, emphasising reusability, modularity, and automation across IP and So C levels.Lead verification of complex high-performance protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, CXL, DDR, HBM, UFS, MIPI, and low-speed peripherals like I2 C/I3 C, SPI, UART, GPIO, and QSPI.Champion Gate-level simulations, power-aware verification, and low-power design validation using Xprop and UPF.Establish and enforce verification sign-off criteria, assertion-based verification (System Verilog Assertions), and functional/code/toggle coverage closure.Collaborate closely with RTL architects, design teams, firmware, DFT, and post-silicon validation to ensure comprehensive test coverage and issue resolution.Lead and scale a high-calibre team of verification engineers; mentor technical leads, foster innovation, and build a culture of accountability and quality.Guide integration of third-party Verification IPs (VIPs) and manage relationships with EDA vendors (Synopsys, Cadence, etc.).Evaluate and enhance verification tool flows (VCS, Xcelium/Xsim, waveform analysers) to improve efficiency and reliability.Oversee processor-based So C verification, including boot-level bring-up using C and System Verilog test integration.Promote continuous improvement in verification strategies, scripting infrastructure (Shell, Perl, Python, Makefile), and verification productivity.Required QualificationsBachelor's, Master's, or Ph D in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.15+ years of hands-on experience in ASIC/So C Design Verification, with 5+ years in technical leadership roles.Deep expertise in System Verilog, UVM, and coverage-driven verification.Proven success in delivering complex ASICs/So Cs from spec to tape out, including first-silicon success.Strong background in low-power verification methodologies, including UPF and power-aware testbench design.Proficiency in debugging and waveform analysis, and advanced scripting for automation.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.Track record of leading global teams and collaborating across geographies and functions.What We OfferA leadership role in shaping next-gen So C architectures.Opportunity to build and mentor a world-class verification team.Exposure to cutting-edge silicon, tools, and verification methodologies.A culture of innovation, excellence, and ownership.Discuss/Apply/Refer@mohini.tyagi@eximietas.design
