Job Description:

- Installation/upgrade of Oracle software.- Strong in trouble shooting GI, Database and performance tuning issues in RAC/Non-RAC.- Thorough Knowledge in handling RAC databases.- Strong Performance tuning experience with a good understanding of database statistics, Locks & Blocking sessions, Explain plan analysis, AWR report analysis, Server resource monitoring etc.- Experience on applying/maintaining GI and Database patches.- Should be able to create, maintain Dataguard databases, troubleshoot and fix DG issues.- Strong in handling all types of backups, refreshes and recovery procedures.- Hands on with 12c and 18c databases.- Should be able develop shell scripts and/or jobs to perform routine database administration tasks.- Good understanding of database partitioning, Golden Gate implementation & maintenance, database security architecture and maintenance.- Oracle OEM experience is required.- Experience with hands on daily Routine DBA operations tasks.- Well acquaintance with different ORA errors and their resolution is required.- Ready to work in any shift including night shift, weekend support on a rotating schedule.- Should be able to handle other RDBMS databases like SQL SERVER- Knowledge on different Cloud technologies will be preferred.
