Lead Consultant – Data Engineer-Talend/ETL

Powered by our purpose – the relentless pursuit of a world that works better for people – we serve and transform leading enterprises, including the Fortune Global 500, with our deep business and industry knowledge, digital operations services, and expertise in data, technology, and AI.Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Data Engineer-Talend/SQL Extensive Talend Implementation and Architecting experience including latest version• Strong experience in Talend Development, enhancement and Migration.• Excellent understanding of tool functions, limitations and hidden features• Talend server installation and configuring/ administration, added advantage.• Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices• Strong SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis.• Migration and Upgrade experience is added advantage.• Proven track record of performance tuning, handling data issues• Good knowledge in Banking & Financial domain is a great plus.• Strong communication and presentation skill• Strong problem-solving attitude• Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to their requirements• Overall IT experience• Talend / other competing ETL tools experience• At least 2-3 medium to large scale enterprise level Talend Implementatio• Deep experience with the design and development of ETL solutions.• Responsibilities• Closely work with Customers on their requirements and convert into solutions• Lead the team and guide and work accordingly• Design end to end solution architecture and guide development teams in complex requirements• Actively participate in knowledge augmentation initiatives• Should be actively responsive to customers and mitigate issues such as product feature deficiencies and other objections• Upgrade and Install Talend Software Plan and execute patches, minor and major release upgrades for Talend Products• Create/manage Talend Projects/Talend metadata in various environments to facilitate development and testing. maintain project and object level security consistent with project requirements in consultation with senior administrator, architects and project teams.• Implement Change management processes to migrate Talend code between QA, UAT and Production environments• Mange ETL’s refreshes and monitoring• Work closely with domains data architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability, scalability and supportability of Talend environment• Maintain Scripts and documentation related to Product suite• Maintain Data recovery and BackupQualifications we seek in youMinimum qualificationsB.
