Azure Data Engineer/Senior
Data Engineer job opening at a

operates in Middle East. The Azure Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines using Azure Data Platform Services like Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Database, Synapse, Power BI. This includes extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses. The role entails building data models, conducting data analytics, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making is also a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Data Engineering and Data Modeling
  • Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing techniques
  • Data Analytics skills
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field

Job Position:

Min Experience: 5 Years

Contract Duration: 6-12months

Location: Remote, based in India

Requirements:

  • Extensive work experience on Azure ETL Tools like Data Factory(Must have)
  • Working experience on Azure Databricks, Pyspark, Spark SQL(Must have)
  • Extensive hands-on experience using Python, Pyspark, SQL Databases, Spark Jobs, Spark Optimization Techniques, SQL Optimization Techniques.(first 4 are mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience on automation tools like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Power Automate(Preferred, Not must)
  • Hands-on experience on Reporting tools like Power BI(Preferred) or Tableau(Preferred, Not mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience on No code platform like Power Apps and Dataverse(Preferred, Not must)
