About the Role As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows on Azure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintainETL/ELT pipelinesusingAzure Data Factory, Databricks, and Spark . Develop and optimize data workflows usingSQL and Python/Scalafor large-scale processing & transformation. Implementperformance tuning and optimizationfor data pipelines and Spark jobs. Collaborate with data engineers to supportfeature engineering, model deployment, and end-to-end workflows . Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Ensuredata quality and integritythrough validation, error-handling, and monitoring mechanisms. Handlestructured & unstructured datawithDelta Lake, Parquet , and other Big Data technologies. Skills RequiredPrimary Skills Azure Data Platform : Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, ADLS. Strong skills inSQL + (Python or Scala)for data manipulation. Experience withETL/ELT pipelinesand transformations. Knowledge ofBig Data technologies(Spark, Delta Lake, Parquet). Ability to architect and implement end-to-endAzure-based data solutions . Data Optimization & Performance Expertise indata pipeline optimizationandperformance tuning . Experience infeature engineeringandmodel deployment . Analytical & Problem-Solving Strongtroubleshooting and problem-solvingskills. Hands-on experience withdata quality checks and validation . Release & Deployment Experience withCI/CD tools and practicesin a data engineering environment. Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge ofdata governance, security, and compliancein hybrid environments. Familiarity withdata governance frameworks and compliance practices .
