Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate to join our Accounts Department to manage all inventory-related accounting tasks. The role involves handling transaction processing for inventory, preparing accurate reports, approving purchase and vendor bills, and maintaining up-to-date inventory records. Proficiency in Excel and a basic understanding of GST and inventory management principles are essential.

Experience :Must have 2 years of exeperienceKey Responsibilities:Inventory Transaction Processing

– Oversee all transactions related to inventory, including tracking stock movement, recording transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely entries.Report Generation and Analysis

– Prepare inventory and financial reports, such as inventory valuation, stock aging, and material movement analysis, using Excel functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIF.Purchase and Vendor Bill Approval

– Review, verify, and approve purchase and vendor bills related to inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies.Data Management and Reconciliation

– Regularly update and reconcile inventory data to reflect accurate stock levels and financial records.Compliance Support

– Assist with GST-related calculations and documentation for inventory transactions to ensure compliance.Required Skills and Qualifications:Excel Proficiency

– Advanced skills in Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, and conditional formatting.Basic GST Knowledge

– Understanding of GST principles as they apply to inventory and transaction recording.Inventory Management Knowledge

– Familiarity with inventory valuation, stock aging, and the material movement of goods.Attention to Detail

– High level of accuracy in managing financial data and reconciling records.
