Role Overview:

The Accounts Executive will manage and oversee all accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance and seamless financial operations. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between management and the finance team, providing clear explanations and reports to the General Manager (GM) on all finance-related matters.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounting and Financial Management:


  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure timely compliance with all statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax filings.
  • Handle audits and coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
  • Prepare and submit periodic financial and compliance reports as required by law.


Budgeting and Financial Analysis:

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal financial health of the company.


Management Reporting:

  • Provide detailed explanations and reports to the General Manager regarding all finance and accounts-related matters.
  • Summarize key financial insights for decision-making.
  • Develop presentations on financial performance for internal and external stakeholders.


Payroll and Employee Benefits:

  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits and statutory deductions.


Coordination and Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters within the organization.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and government agencies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter/ICWA preferred).
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial management.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Tally, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
