Account Executive

Role Overview:
The Accounts Executive will manage and oversee all accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance and seamless financial operations. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between management and the finance team, providing clear explanations and reports to the General Manager (GM) on all finance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax filings.
- Handle audits and coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
- Prepare and submit periodic financial and compliance reports as required by law.
Budgeting and Financial Analysis:
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal financial health of the company.
Management Reporting:
- Provide detailed explanations and reports to the General Manager regarding all finance and accounts-related matters.
- Summarize key financial insights for decision-making.
- Develop presentations on financial performance for internal and external stakeholders.
Payroll and Employee Benefits:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.

Coordination and Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters within the organization.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and government agencies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter/ICWA preferred).
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Tally, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
