Essential Job Functions:

- Requires a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with a strong and innovative approach to problem-solving and finding solutions.

- Strong Analytical skills to understand business requirements and suggest optimal solutions to the customer.

- Ability to work with the client/teams on technical issue resolutions.

- Collaborate with team members to determine the best practices and client requirements for software applications.

- Develop intuitive software applications that meet and exceed the needs of the company/customer.

- Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns.

- Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.

- Ensure software security by developing programs to actively use the standard guidelines defined by the company/industry standards.

- Involved in Code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines.

- Well-versed with API integration or third-party integrations.

- Adheres to policies, procedures, and standards as set forth by the company/client.

- Should have strong verbal and written English communication skills.

- Self-organized and able to handle stressful situations in the completion of assignments without compromising on quality.

Technical Skills - Mandatory:

- Demonstrated proficiency with WordPress development, REST API, or WPGraphQL.

- Proficiency in WordPress plugin development.

- Solid understanding of WordPress life cycle and hooks.

- Strong understanding of WordPress security and performance best practices.

- Solid understanding of software design concepts, patterns, tools, and best practices.

- Understanding of WordPress role management and capabilities.

- Experience with database management and optimization. Especially WordPress multisite vs single sites.

- Experience writing and optimizing custom WordPress database queries.

- Familiarity with developing Multisite WordPress.

- Familiarity with Gatsby and Apollo clients for building front-end applications.

- Basic understanding of Headless WordPress architecture and development.

- Experience using Composer dependency management.

- Good knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.

- Good Knowledge of Code versioning tools such as GIT.

- Experience writing acceptance and WPUnit /PHPUnit Tests or Codeception.

- Knowledge of ACF, Gravity Forms, and WPGraphQL APIs.

- Experience using code linters and static analysis tools such as PHPStan and PHP_CodeSniffer.

- Experience working with Docker and Docker Compose.

- CSS3, Agile Methodology.

- Experience with CI and CD tools.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
