Production Planning for Shoe Manufacturing

Production Planning:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules specifically for shoe manufacturing to meet customer order requirements.Coordinate with the shoe production team to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of orders.Monitor shoe production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays or issues.Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the shoe manufacturing process.
Procurement:
Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials and components specific to shoe manufacturing, including leather, rubber, and textiles.Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement for shoe materials.Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of shoe manufacturing materials.Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent production disruptions in shoe manufacturing.
Inventory Management:
Implement and manage inventory control systems to track stock levels and movements of shoe manufacturing materials.Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Identify opportunities to reduce inventory holding costs while maintaining sufficient stock levels for shoe production.Quality Assurance:Ensure that all procured materials for shoe manufacturing meet quality standards and specifications.Address any quality issues with suppliers and work towards resolution.Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure product consistency and reliability in shoe manufacturingMaintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier communications, and production schedules specific to shoe manufacturing.Generate regular reports on inventory levels, production progress, and procurement status for shoe manufacturing.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making in shoe manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.Proven experience in production planning and procurement, preferably in the shoe manufacturing industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Skills:
