Job Description:
As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in the production process, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems. Developing and improving manufacturing methods, procedures, and equipment to meet production goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to ensure products are manufactured to the highest standards. Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis to determine the best manufacturing approach for new products. Troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve productivity. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs. Providing technical support and guidance to production teams to resolve complex manufacturing problems. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and innovation. Conducts detailed assessments of work processes to optimize efficiency and productivity through data analysis, process improvement, and the implementation of standardized procedures. Seamless integration of new products (NPI) into manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and timely deliveryAdded Advantage Skills:
SAP AutoCADQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 4-6 years of experience in mechanical manufacturing engineering or Electro Mechanical. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, welding, and fabrication. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong knowledge of TPM principles, methodologies, and tools, including autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, and focused improvement.Collins Aerospace Diversity & Inclusion Statement:
