We are on the lookout for a Senior Designer.
If you are a creator, a dreamer who thinks and breathes design. If you've worked with brands, and know your way around setting up a visual language. If you, like us, dig Saul Bass, David Shrigley or Paula Scher’s work and want to make cool stuff like them. If you have an eye for visual detail, but can and want to also think out of the box, then we are looking for you. If you want to lead branding and social media projects and anything and everything that fits in-between the design working day.
THE ROLE
Here is what we are looking for:
1.    Core competence needed of Positioning, Branding, Identity & Packaging Design.
2.    Independent ideation and thinking. Originality and true creativity from the mind and not the internet or likes of Pinterest.
3.    Social Media, Strategic thinking, Grid design, Art Direction, Branding – all should be areas of strength.
4.    Focusing on creative direction and feedback.
5.    Working knowledge of print and art working.
6.    Ability to draw, sketch, journal and manually and digitally illustrate.
7.    Working knowledge of visualising and design typography – very important (doing different kinds of design work like in publication or packaging etc is very crucial).
8.    Conscious of timelines and deadlines vis a vis productivity and output.
9.    Being able to take ownership and lead projects under guidance and instruction of the Senior Art Director and / or Creative director – this is for their growth as well.
10. Be involved in not just leading projects responsibly but also design coordination.
11. Working towards creative solutions.
12. Well versed and updated on design news, design trends and impact on commercial environment.
13. A good knowledge of planning and understanding photo and video shoots to execute ones social media vision.
14. Very good communication skills. Includes writing as well because designers should be able to write a good brief for other vertical team members like in copywriting and client relations.
