Role Overview :

Seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Visual Designer to join our Product Design team. Your expertise in visual design and illustration will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and enhancing the user experience of our mobile and web products.

Collaborating closely with UI Designers, UX Designers, UX Motion Designers, and UX Writers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our users enjoy a visually appealing, delightful, and intuitive experience.

Responsibilities :

- You will collaborate effectively with UI Designers, UX Designers, UX Motion Designers, and UX Writers to ensure your creatives support a seamless user experience, present a compelling visual story, and inject delight across all product interfaces.

- You will actively participate in design reviews and critiques, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs to achieve the best possible outcomes.

- You will stay abreast of emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative and cutting-edge visual solutions to the team.

Qualifications :

- You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, Fine Arts, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- You have at least 5+ years of experience in an agency or product environment.

- You have a strong portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct design contributions.

- You have experience with contributing creatives to the interfaces of mobile and web applications is preferred, but not a prerequisite.

- You have proven experience creating and implementing visual design systems.

- Experience with the same across platforms in an iterative software development environment is preferred, but not a prerequisite.

- You have in-depth knowledge of illustration techniques, ability to work with diverse visual and illustration styles, and a keen eye for detail.

- You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), as well as allied tools, such as Figma or Sketch.

- You demonstrate problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical possibilities and constraints as they apply to designing for platforms such as responsive web and mobile.

- You have experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.

- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate conceptual ideas and design rationale within a user-centered design process.

- You understand UX and UI principles and the ability to translate them into visually appealing designs.

Bonus points : Experience with creating 3D illustrations.
